Dan Lee Holey II offers over 15 years of experience in the mortgage and financial services field. He builds lasting friendships with clients and industry partners, and loves seeing the pride and joy that homeownership brings. Born and raised in Waco, Dan graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a degree in business management. He started his career at a federal credit union, serving in a wide range of financial services, including mortgage lending. In 2017, Dan joined Cornerstone Home Lending because the company’s mission aligned with his personal passion: To make a positive difference in the lives of others. With access to Cornerstone’s variety of home loan programs, Dan can help everyone from first-time homebuyers and move-up homeowners to real estate investors. He also works closely with each client to make the mortgage process as effortless as possible. Plus, both customers and partners know they can rely on him to be there for them in the years to come. Outside of the office, Dan devotes his time to family and friends. He also enjoys exploring the great outdoors and traveling the world.

Most of my professional career has been in banking and real estate. I have been in mortgage lending for almost 31 years with the last 22 years being at American Bank. I love helping first time homebuyers achieve the dream of homeownership or seeing a borrower’s excitement when they buy or build their dream home. I believe homeownership is the key to establishing roots in a community. Being a part of a community and giving back to a community is what American Bank is all about. It is my honor to help people achieve this. Outside of work, I am a strong supporter of Baylor Bear athletics. While I love and support all Baylor Bears sports, I’m especially fond of our defending national champions, the Baylor Bears basketball team, the Baylor Lady Bears basketball team and the Baylor Bears football team. I bleed green and gold!  When I am not at or watching a game, I enjoy music, singing, photography, movies and spending time with my husband, Doug.
